Every time we say yes to something that hurts us, we slowly say no to ourselves. Saying no does not make you selfish. It makes you honest. Healthy boundaries are one of the deepest forms of self-respect.

About the guest: Stefanie Goertz

Stefanie Goertz is a certified horse-assisted coach, project coordinator at the University of Potsdam, and a passionate advocate for emotional wellbeing, self-awareness and healthy boundaries.

Born into both Guatemalan and German cultures, Stefanie's personal journey has deeply shaped the way she sees human relationships, identity and emotional balance. Through her own experiences, she discovered how easily people can lose connection with themselves while trying to meet expectations, avoid conflict or constantly take care of others.

Her work and perspective focus on helping people reconnect with their authentic selves, understand their emotional patterns and create healthier relationships — not through perfection, but through honesty, self-respect and awareness.

Through her calm, empathetic and deeply human approach, Stefanie encourages people to stop abandoning themselves for acceptance and instead create a life that feels more aligned, peaceful and authentic.
