EN 44 Sex Intimacy & Relationships

18/10/2026

Why can it feel easier to have sex than to talk honestly about it? Sex, attraction and emotional intimacy can mean different things to each of us. Yet finding the words to talk about our desires, expectations and boundaries can feel vulnerable - even with someone we love.

🎙️ In this episode of #JanaTalk, I'm very happy to welcome Zohar Nagar - school nurse, sexual health educator and Relationships and Sex Education teacher based in Prague. Zohar has worked with teenagers for 11 years and has specialised in sexual health education for the past 5 years. She currently teaches at two international schools in Prague and shares educational content about relationships, intimacy and sexual health on Instagram as @Iamzoharnagar.

Together, we explore sex, intimacy and the conversations we often find difficult to have. We discuss the expectations we bring into intimate relationships, the difference between attraction and emotional connection, and how to communicate more openly about what feels right for us.

Chemistry can create attraction. It takes communication to build connection.
Situationships are a common form of connection in modern dating - a romantic or sexual connection where you haven't clearly defined what you are to each other or what you both want.

About the guest: Zohar Nagar

Zohar Nagar is a school nurse, sexual health educator and Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) teacher based in Prague. She has worked with teenagers as a school nurse for 11 years and has specialised in sexual health education for the past five years.

She currently teaches Relationships and Sex Education at two international schools in Prague, working directly with young people as they navigate questions about relationships, sexuality and intimacy. Her perspective is informed by the conversations she has with teenagers every day, offering insight into the concerns, expectations and challenges they encounter.

Her educational work covers consent, boundaries, communication, contraception and sexual health, alongside broader questions about emotional connection and healthy relationships. She is also interested in how dating apps, social media, ghosting and situationships influence the way people meet, communicate and understand where they stand.

Through her Instagram page @Iamzoharnagar, Zohar creates educational content about sexual health, relationships and intimacy, including subjects that people often find difficult to discuss openly. She aims to make these conversations educational, open and relatable.

In her conversation on Jana Talk, Zohar explores sex, intimacy and relationships, including the difference between physical attraction and emotional closeness, communicating about desires and boundaries, and creating space for trust and genuine connection. While her work offers a particular understanding of young people's experiences, these questions resonate far beyond one generation.
