EN 30 Special Questions: Rebecca Hanscombe
How does a woman who helps others reconnect with their bodies stay grounded, calm and connected in everyday life? What habits, rituals and small daily moments help her release stress, protect her energy and stay present in a busy world? And what does someone deeply connected to the body actually do behind the scenes to feel free, alive and balanced?
🎙️ In this Special Questions edition of #JanaTalk, I continue my conversation with Rebecca Hanscombe — shamanic practitioner and founder of the School of Ecstatic Movement.
In the main episode, we explored why so many people feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected — and how the body can become a gateway back to freedom, healing and inner peace.
Now we take a more personal look behind the scenes. Rebecca shares the rituals, routines and mindset that help her stay connected to herself while guiding others through deep emotional and body-based transformation.

The body remembers what the mind tries to forget. Emotions don't disappear — they just move deeper into the body. When we suppress emotions, we don't heal them — we store them. Movement allows emotions to move — that's why it's so powerful.

About the guest: Rebecca Hanscombe
Rebecca Hanscombe is a shamanic practitioner and the founder of the School of Ecstatic Movement, a platform dedicated to helping people reconnect with themselves through the wisdom of the body, movement and emotional awareness.
Her work focuses on guiding individuals out of overthinking, stress and disconnection, and back into a deeper sense of presence, authenticity and inner freedom. Through her approach, she helps people access parts of themselves that are often hidden beneath layers of control, suppressed emotions and everyday pressure.
Rebecca's journey into this field is rooted in her own personal experience of transformation. Through reconnecting with her body, she discovered that many of the answers we are searching for cannot be found through thinking alone, but through feeling, movement and direct experience.
Throughout her work, Rebecca supports people in releasing stored emotions, processing inner blocks and reconnecting with their natural state of aliveness. She believes that the body holds not only our past experiences, but also the intelligence and capacity to heal, when given the right space and attention.
Through the School of Ecstatic Movement, Rebecca offers workshops, group sessions and immersive experiences designed to help people move beyond limitations and rediscover a deeper connection to themselves and their inner world.
Rebecca helps people return to themselves in a way that is not only understood, but truly felt.
